Texas Book Festival is excited to announce that we will be partnering with Girl Scouts Central Texas to create our very own Girl Scout Patch!
The Texas Book Festival patch program encourages girls to read, engage with their community and discover new genres and authors. Girl Scouts will explore books on the Texas Library Associations Texas Bluebonnet list, nonfiction books on the Texas Library Association Topaz list, and more! While at the Festival, girls can earn the patch by meeting and engaging with authors and other attendees. During the year, Girls can earn the patch by organizing book swaps, starting book clubs and reading with the community.
