The Texas Book Festival is made possible by volunteers. If you love books, Austin, and celebrating with your community you are a perfect fit for our volunteer team! We could not do this without you!

Volunteer for a few hours – or days – for our grand return to in-person events. You can pick when and where to lend a hand to be a part of programming for your favorite authors and genres, but space is filling up fast!

Please complete this sign-up form to volunteer for the 2022 Texas Book Festival, and you should be contacted within a week of your submission for next steps. Please only select shifts and times you can attend, feel free to leave a note in the comments if you’d be willing to be contacted for additional shifts.

If your group is smaller than 10 people, we ask that you coordinate schedules and sign up individually. As long as you select the same tent at the same time, you’ll be together! For groups of 10 or larger, please use the “Group” subsection and you will be contacted for additional information.
