Thank you for your interest in donating to the 2019 First Edition Literary Gala silent auction! The Gala is our most important fundraiser of the year, and this event supports the Festival Weekend, Reading Rock Stars, Library Grants, Texas Teen Book Festival, and all our year-round literary programming. Generous companies and individuals have made this a unique and exciting silent auction. Thank you to the 2018 auction donors!
In 2018, the silent auction raised nearly $100k, through more than 50 packages, including a week in Vermont, private gourmet dinners with acclaimed authors, and one-of-a-kind works of art.
Why donate to the silent auction?
- Feature your product or service in front of more than 500 Gala attendees

- Impact public libraries, Title I schools, and readers of all ages.
What are we looking for? While we specifically seek items valued at $500 or more, we can package smaller items together. For 2019, we are focusing on “experience” items, such as private concerts, culinary tours and tastings, and travel opportunities.
