For over 5 years, Typewriter Rodeo has been creating on-the-spot poetry at events across the country. They also do weekly poems for KUT’s “Texas Standard” radio program. Their book, Typewriter Rodeo: Real People, Real Stories, Custom Poems, was published in April by Andrews McMeel. Part poetry and part Humans of New York, it’s collection of poems done for people all across the country — and the stories and photos behind them.
