Thrity Umrigar is the bestselling author of eight previous novels, including The Space Between Us, The Secrets Between Us and Everybody’s Son. A former prize-winning journalist, she has contributed to the Boston Globe, the Washington Post, the New York Times and the Huffington Post. A recipient of the Nieman fellowship to Harvard, she is also the author of three picture books for kids. Thrity is a professor of English at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
