Rubén Degollado has been published in Bilingual Review/Revista Bilingüe, Beloit Fiction Journal, Gulf Coast, Hayden’s Ferry Review, and Image. He is an American Short Fiction, Glimmer Train, and Bellingham Review contest finalist. His debut novel, Throw, won the Texas Institute of Letters 2020 Award for Best Young Adult Book and was included on the Texas Library Association 2020 TAYSHAS list of best books for teen readers and was a Christianity Today 2020 Book of Merit. He has work forthcoming in the anthologies Dreaming of Me, Beyond Borders, and Nepantla Families.
