Rosalind Harvey is an acclaimed literary translator of contemporary Hispanic writing. She has worked on books by authors such as Enrique Vila-Matas, Héctor Abad, Elvira Navarro, Guadalupe Nettel and Juan Pablo Villalobos. She is a 2016 Arts Foundation fellow, and her translations have been shorlisted for prizes such as the Guardian First Book Award and the Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize. She has taught translation at undergraduate level at the Universities of Bristol and Roehampton, and on the MA in Translation at the University of Bristol. She is chair and co-founder of the Emerging Translators Network, a peer-to-peer advice and support group for early-career literary translators, and has previously been a committee member of the UK Translators Association.
