Ramona Reeves is the author of It Falls Gently All Around and Other Stories, which won the 2022 Drue Heinz Literature Prize (University of Pittsburgh Press) and the 2023 Sergio Troncoso Award for Best First Book of Fiction (Texas Institute of Letters). She’s also won the Nancy D. Hargrove Editors’ Prize, received a residency grant from the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts, and has been a finalist in both the Texas Observer and Austin Chronicle short story contests. Her work appears in Post Road, Bayou Magazine, The Southampton Review, Texas Highways and other journals and magazines.
