Nathaniel Rich is the author of Losing Earth: A Recent History, an expansion of an article that occupied a full issue of the New York Times Magazine and received the Society of Environmental Journalists’ annual prize for best feature story. Rich is the author of the novels King Zeno, Odds Against Tomorrow, and The Mayor’s Tongue; a regular contributor to the Atlantic and the New York Review of Books; and a writer at large for the New York Times Magazine. He lives in New Orleans.
