Michael Noll is the author of The Writer’s Field Guide to the Craft of Fiction. His short stories have been published in The Best American Mystery Stories anthology and, most recently, in Crazyhorse. He has taught for more than a decade at the university level and in independent classes in Austin, New Mexico, and online. On Read to Write Stories blog, he has interviewed more than 150 authors about the craft behind the work. He lives in Austin, where he is the Program Director at the Writers’ League of Texas.
