Michael Genhart, PhD is a clinical psychologist and an award-winning author of several children’s books such as Accordingly: Abuelo and Opa Make Music, Rainbow: A First Book of Pride, I See You, So Many Smarts!, Peanut Butter & Jellyous, Ouch! Moments: When Words Are Used in Hurtful Ways, and Love is Love. He lives with his family in Marin County, CA. This story was inspired by all the fun times he spent in tamaladas with his family during his childhood in Southern California.
