Meghan P. Browne is the author of award-winning picture book biography, Indelible Ann: The Larger-than-Life Story of Governor Ann Richards (with illustrator Carlynn Whitt), a 2023-2024 Texas Library Association Bluebonnet Award nominee. She also authored Dorothy the Brave (with illustrator Brooke Smart) and newly released The Bees of Notre-Dame (with illustrator E.B. Goodale). Meghan holds a BA from The University of Arizona and an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts. She was born and raised in Austin, Texas where she now lives with her husband, Greg, their three children, a pasture full of goats and chickens, a thriving honeybee apiary, and a couple of misbehaved dogs.
