Mary Beth Keane attended Barnard College, Columbia University and the University of Virginia, where she received an MFA in Fiction. She was the recipient of a John S. Guggenheim fellowship for creative arts, and her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Chicago Tribune, Vogue, Time, O, the Oprah Magazine, and elsewhere. Her third novel, Ask Again, Yes, debuted at #5 on the New York Times Bestseller list, and was the 2019 selection for The Tonight Show Summer Reads with Jimmy Fallon.
