Liz Garton Scanlon is the author of many picture books for young readers including the Caldecott Honor Book All the World, illustrated by Marla Frazee; I Want a Boat, illustrated by Kevan Atteberry; Another Way to Climb a Tree, illustrated by Hadley Hooper; two middle grade novels; and many more. Liz serves on the faculty of the Vermont College of Fine Arts and lives in Austin, Texas, where the streets beep and shine.
