Lisa Olstein is the author of seven books, including the poetry collections Dream Apartment (2023), Late Empire (2017), Little Stranger (2013), Lost Alphabet (2009), and Radio Crackling, Radio Gone (2006); the lyric essay Pain Studies (2020); and the exchange of epistolary essays Climate (2022), with Julie Carr. Recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, Lannan Residency Fellowship, Pushcart Prize, Hayden Carruth Award, Sustainable Arts Foundation award, and Texas League of Writers award, Olstein teaches in the New Writers Project and Michener Center for Writers MFA programs at the University of Texas at Austin.
