Jennifer Fawcett grew up in rural Eastern Ontario and spent many years in Canada making theater before coming to the United States. She holds an MFA from the Iowa Playwrights Workshop and her work has been produced in theaters across the country. Her debut novel, Beneath the Stairs, was published by Atria Books in 2022. She lives in the Hudson Valley, where she teaches writing at Skidmore College.
