Gavin Edwards is the New York Times–bestselling author of thirteen books, ranging from Kindness and Wonder: Why Mister Rogers Matters Now More Than Ever to Bad Motherfucker: The Life and Movies of Samuel L. Jackson, the Coolest Man in Hollywood, and including The Beautiful Book of Exquisite Corpses and The Tao of Bill Murray: Real-Life Stories of Joy, Enlightenment, and Party Crashing. He has also written for numerous publications—most frequently, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Details. The first Marvel comic book he ever read was X-Men Annual #4, where the mutants visit Dante’s Inferno. He is currently working on a book about Magic: The Gathering, titled Chaos Orb. Formerly a resident of New York, London, and Los Angeles, he now lives with his family in Charlotte, North Carolina.
