Gabriela Hasbun

As a photographer specializing in portraits, Gabriela Hasbun’s work highlights the marginalized and unexplored communities around her. Her work is a celebration of the complexities of identity and community, and she is drawn to projects that question existing narratives. Her photographs have appeared in many national publications, including the New York Times, Esquire, Rolling Stone, People, Wired, Forbes, Lucky Peach, Popular Mechanics, and Dwell. Hasbun grew up in El Salvador during the country’s devastating civil war, and she now lives and works in San Francisco, California.
