Deepa Varadarajan is a writer and law professor at Georgia State University. She grew up in Texas and is a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Yale Law School. Her short fiction has appeared in the Georgia Review and Colorado Review, and her legal scholarship has appeared in the Yale Law Journal and many other publications. Her debut novel, Late Bloomers, was published by Random House in May 2023 and was selected as a Target Book Club Pick. She lives in Atlanta with her husband and two children.
