Debora MacKenzie

Debora MacKenzie began her career as a biomedical researcher and has been a science reporter for the past thirty-six years, mostly for the British magazine New Scientist, and among other things has specialized in infectious disease. For years she has been reporting scientists’ increasingly urgent warnings that humanity is at risk of a pandemic. A Canadian, MacKenzie currently lives in France, just across the border from Geneva, Switzerland.
