Cyrus Cassells is the author six acclaimed books of poetry. His work has garnered a Lannan Literary Award, a Lambda Literary Award, the William Carlos Williams Award, a Pushcart Prize, two NEA grants, and best of the year citations from Publishers Weekly and Library Journal. Still Life with Children: Selected Poems of Francesc Parcerisas (translated from the Catalan) and My Gingerbread Shakespeare, his first novel, are forthcoming in 2019. A Professor of English at Texas State University, he lives in Austin.
