Chris Ying is the cofounder and former editor in chief of Lucky Peach. He has written and edited numerous books about food and other topics. Ying is currently the editor of the MAD Dispatches book series, produced in partnership with MAD, the nonprofit organization founded by chef René Redzepi to bring together a global cooking community with a social conscience, a sense of curiosity, and an appetite for change. Each volume of Dispatches will unpack a single urgent topic from the world of food, encouraging readers to think about food in new ways and to take action as part of a global community.
