Chase Heard is the cofounder and creative director of Howler Brothers—an Austin, Texas, based outdoor apparel brand. Chase grew up in Florida, attended the University of Virginia, and received his Masters of Architecture from the University of Texas School of Architecture. He and his partner Andy Stepanian founded Howler Brothers after years of playing music and touring in the band Wrinkle Neck Mules. Howler Brothers clothing designs honor the soul, passion, and timeless style of sports such as surfing and fly fishing but update historic garment ideas with modern influence from waves, water, geography, fashion, and art. The brand celebrated their ten-year anniversary in 2021, and this book is a collection of the artwork, design, photography, and vibrant community that surrounds Howler Brothers in Texas and beyond.
