Becky Duval Reese has focused her career on the study of the art and artists of Texas. Beginning with her 15-year tenure at what is now known as the Blanton Museum of Art, continuing with her 14-year tenure as director of the El Paso Museum of Art, she has organized numerous exhibitions, lectured widely, and written and edited many books and catalogues on the subject.
