Barry Wittenstein is the author of several picture books, including Waiting for Pumpsie, The Boo-Boos That Changed the World: A True Story About an Accidental Invention (Really), and Sonny’s Bridge. Boo-Boos is on Texas Library Association’s 2019-2020 Texas Bluebonnet Award Master List, and also the winner of the 2018-2019 Alabama Camellia Children’s Choice Book Award Winners (4-5  Non-Fiction). Two forthcoming narrative nonfiction picture books are to be released in 2020 (Schwartz & Wade) and 2022 (Boyds Mills & Kane).
