Andrew Sansom is executive director of the Meadows Center for Water and the Environment at Texas State University. The author of numerous books, including Of Texas Rivers and Texas Art, he previously served as the executive director of the Nature Conservancy of Texas and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. He resides in Austin, Texas.
