Amy Gentry

Amy Gentry is a novelist and critic whose most recent book is TORI AMOS’S BOYS FOR PELE 33 1/3, a critical assessment of Tori Amos’s ambitious 1996 album. Her debut thriller GOOD AS GONE was a New York Times Book Review “Editors’ Choice” in 2016. She is also a book reviewer and essayist whose work has appeared in numerous outlets, including the Chicago Tribune, Salon, The Paris Review, the Los Angeles Review of Books, and The Austin Chronicle. Amy has a doctorate in English and lives in Austin, Texas. Her next thriller, LAST WOMAN STANDING, is forthcoming from Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in January 2019.
