Amanda Bestor-Siegal is the author of The Caretakers (William Morrow/HarperCollins), which was an Amazon Best Book of the Month and an April 2022 IndieNext pick. Her work has appeared in The Threepenny Review, Salon, and River Teeth, and she received her MFA in fiction and screenwriting from the Michener Center for Writers at UT-Austin. Amanda lived in France for four years before relocating to Austin, where she now works at a kitten nursery.
