What is a Festival Friends Pass? A Festival Friends Pass is our way of saying thank you for donating $100 or more to the Texas Book Festival. A Festival Friends Pass allows you, plus one guest, priority seating at designated Festival Friends Pass sessions, 20% discount on one book bought through the BookPeople Festival Sales Tent, Sunday morning VIP shopping hour during the Festival weekend, and acknowledgement on our Festival Friends wall on the TBF website. We announce Friends Pass sessions in September, after we have announced our full author lineup.
Why should you donate at the $100+ level? Donations keep the annual Festival free for everyone and fund our outreach programs. With your help, we bring books to life for children in low-income schools through our Reading Rock Stars program, make grants to Texas public libraries, and connect authors and readers in meaningful ways through the annual Festival and other year-round literary events.
Consider supporting the TBF at the $100+ level. You can sit back in a comfy seat on the House Floor, enjoy hearing a Festival author speak, and feel great because you are helping keep this literary event free for everyone to enjoy. Thank you!
