Capitol Extension Room E2.030

This session celebrates the life and legacy of acclaimed Western writer and Pulitzer Prize winner Larry McMurtry who — in a career that spanned more than forty books and sixty years of work — contributed to some of the most memorable writing on both screen and paper, including the screenplay for Brokeback Mountain and the novel Lonesome Dove. A pioneer in his own right, Larry McMurtry no doubt paved an elegiac path for a new generation of Western writers to traverse.
