Texas author Oscar Cásares (Where We Come From) sits down with Cristóbal Pera, the Publishing Director of Vintage Español, to discuss the process of translating Cásares’s latest novel, Where We Come From, from English into Spanish. Set in Brownsville, the novel tells the story of a Mexican-American family that reluctantly becomes involved in smuggling immigrants into the United States.
