In his book, Standing: One Man’s Odyssey During the Turbulent ‘60s, Ernest McMillan writes about his experience as a Black man coming of age during the Civil Rights movement and his path to becoming a civil rights activist and community advocate. In Black on Black, award-winning author and professor of African American Studies Daniel Black gives voice to those that often live on the margins of our society through his collection of essays.
