Acclaimed investigative journalists Keri Blakinger and Phoebe Zerwick discuss their compelling new books about penology and criminal justice. In Blakinger’s memoir Corrections in Ink, the author details her own experience with addiction and her search for a better path in a system that doesn’t provide everyone a second chance. Zerwick’s Beyond Innocence profiles Darryl Hunt, who served nineteen years of a life sentence for a crime he did not commit.
