The Texas Book Festival Weekend is, of course, all about the books, but it’s also about opportunities for our authors to meet and hang out with one another, enjoy the city, and party. Below are invitations to author parties during the Festival Weekend. This is all optional and purely for fun. Join us for some fun downtime outside of Festival programming!

Texas Book Festival Kickoff Party – Friday October 26 at 8PM

Enjoy light bites and beverages as we launch the 2018 Festival Weekend at one of Austin’s iconic music clubs.

Authors’ Breakfast – Saturday October 27 at 9AM

Join us for a casual buffet-style breakfast at the offices of Festival sponsor Texas Monthly. Open to authors, moderators and select Festival friends, the breakfast is an opportunity to mingle with fellow writers and members of the Austin and Texas literary community. Author Check-In is hosted in the same building, so you can stop for breakfast and pick up your badge!

Authors’ Cocktail Party – SATURDAY OCTOBER 27 at 5:30PM

Celebrate a great day at the Texas Book Festival at this exclusive, invitation-only cocktail party at a private home. Space is extremely limited. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate plus-ones.  This invitation is only open to the author.
