Proceeds from the First Edition Literary Gala keep the Festival Weekend and Texas Teen Book Festival free and open to the public; bring Reading Rock Stars to Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, and the Rio Grande Valley; and put books on library shelves with Texas Library Grants.
If you can’t attend the Gala this year, but still want to support the Texas Book Festival, consider bidding in the 2018 silent auction. It is a good opportunity to win a once-in a lifetime package, or to get something you love at a great price.
All sales will close at 8:30pm on Friday October 26. You do not have to be present to win.
