We’re excited to announce we’ve added-winning writer and 13-year blogging veteran Luvvie Ajayi as one of the featured authors at the 2017 Texas Book Festival!
Join us on Saturday, November 4 at 10:00AM when Luvvie (known to her legion of Twitter fans as @Luvvie) speaks about and signs her bestselling book, I’m Judging You: The Do Better Manual.
Luvvie is known for her razor sharp wit and her take on all things pop culture, race, media and technology. Her debut book, I’m Judging You: The Do Better Manual, is a series of humorous essays that dissects our cultural obsessions and calls out bad behavior in our increasingly digital, connected lives. Join her for a special conversation at the Texas Book Festival as she passes on lessons and side-eyes on life, social media, culture and fame, addressing those terrible friends we all have, to serious discussions of race and media representation, to what to do about your fool cousin sharing casket pictures from Grandma’s wake on Facebook.
The Texas Book Festival is FREE and open to the public. The Festival takes place the weekend of November 4-5 in and around the State Capitol. Books will be available for sale at this session courtesy of BookPeople. A book signing will follow the talk.
