Austin-based cartoonists Sara Goetter and Natalie Riess teamed up to write The Bawk-Ness Monster, an imaginative tale of friendship and fun where one little girl must journey to find the monster that saved her from drowning before she moves to a new city. Brothers Jerome and Jarret Pumprhey, the former an author/illustrator for The Walt Disney Company and the latter a tech CEO turned author/illustrator, created Link + Hud: Heroes by Hair — a story grounded in brotherly camaraderie, mischief, and mayhem which explores how imaginary adventures can cause real-world havoc. Join this quartet of amazing author/illustrators in this conversation on collaboration, childhood wonder, and how creativity guides children through the monumental task of growing up.
