Taiwanese author Kevin Chen was first a cinema and theatre actor before he published several novels, essays, and short story collections. Ghost Town, his first English publication (translated by Darryl Sterk), weaves themes of identity and culture clashes, superstitions, and family secrets together in a thrilling murder mystery. Oksana Lutsyshyna is a Ukrainian writer, translator, poet and Assistant Professor of Practice in Ukrainian Studies at UT Austin. Ivan and Phoebe, her June 2023 release (translated by Nina Murray), spotlights the Ukrainian independence movement of 1990 through the lens of a married couple.
