Professor of English composition and literature Jo Scott-Coe and former FBI agent Jana Monroe discuss their newest books, Unheard Witness and Hearts of Darkness. From one young woman’s experience struggling to survive domestic abuse before the 1966 UT Austin tower shooting to another’s life of hunting down serial killers as the first female profiler in the FBI Behavioral Science Unit, these dark revelations draw important ties between the reality of domestic violence and mass shootings in our country.
