This form MUST be completed in order to confirm your author for the 27th annual Texas Book Festival, taking place in-person in Austin, TX, November 5–6. If more than one of the book’s contributors will be participating (e.g., two co-authors, or both an author and an illustrator), a separate confirmation form must be completed by or for each participant.
This form is set to expire on July 11. Invitations are issued on a rolling basis between May and August, but this invitation expires on this date. Expiration means only that we cannot guarantee a session placement after these dates, though we will try. If the author accepts the invitation, we strongly encourage you to submit the form below as early as possible upon receiving it.
Upon submitting the form, please also make sure to ship 4–5 finished copies of the featured book to Texas Book Festival, ATTN: Literary Director, 1023 Springdale Road, Building 14, Suite B, Austin, TX 78721. If finished copies are not yet available, please arrange for them to be shipped once they are. These serve as desk copies for our programming committees’ reference, as copies for moderators’ preparation, and sometimes as copies used in Festival promotional/giveaway campaigns during the run-up to Festival Weekend.
Important: The details of the Festival lineup remain embargoed until they are announced to the public in late August or early September. Please refrain from publicly announcing your placement in the lineup until then.
