Texas Book Festival Announces Library Grant Recipients

TXlibrariesExecutive Director Lois Kim announced the Texas Book Festival library grant recipients on April 11, 2014 at the TLA conference in San Antonio. This year the Texas Book Festival granted $60,225 to Texas public libraries, for a total of over $2.6 million given since the program’s inception. Grants are given in three categories: Collection Enhancement, Technology, and Literacy Initiative. Library grant applications will be available in November for the 2014-2015 grant cycle.
