The 2013 Texas Book Festival will take place on October 26 & 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Congress Ave., Eleventh St. and Colorado St. An estimated 40,000 visitors will attend the Festival over the two days. The Festival will temporarily close city streets around business, residence, religious center or neighborhoods in this area.
Festival street closures begin at 6:00 p.m. 10/25 on Congress Ave. between 8th & 11th, Eleventh St. between Lavaca St. & San Jacinto Blvd. and reopen at 11:59 p.m. 10/27. Extended closures begin at 9:00 a.m. 10/24 on Colorado St. between W. 11th St. & W. 13th St. and reopen at 2:00 p.m. 10/28. For more detailed info and timeline of closures visit links below.
