Travel the Festival!


Calling all kids: This year travel the Festival with your very own Festival Passport.  Passports can be printed out before the Festival or pick up your passport at the Children’s Activity Tent at the Festival on a first-come, first-served basis. Get your passport stamped by attending passport sessions in the Children’s Read Me A Story Tent and the Austin Club. Kids who get three or more passport sessions stamped can show their passport at the Children’s Activity Tent for a small prize! Download one today!

11:00-11:45 Le Big Manual Workshop

Make a colored paper ornament, carve a head from an apple that will age over time, learn a fun brain teaser game using only a mirror, pencil, and paper—just a few of the DIY activities from French author/designer Sophie Glasser’s beautifully hand-drawn family craft book.

Head over to the Central Market Cooking Tent on 11th Street between Colorado and Congress for a weekend full of cooking demonstrations. From tacos to German baking, Tex-Mex to Persian food, these chefs crisscross the globe.
