The Texas Book Festival invites you to join the Austin Film Festival and David Magee, screenwriter of "Life of Pi" and "Finding Neverland," on Wednesday, May 22 at 6 p.m. for a conversation on adaptation, writing for imaginative worlds, and using language to articulate enchanting stories that have been beautifully translated to the screen. The Conversation will take place at the Harry Ransom Center, 300 West 21st Street. After the conversation, there will be a special screening of "Finding Neverland" at 8 p.m. at the Spirit Theatre at the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum, 1800 Congress Avenue. Texas Book Festival members will get the same discounted $10 ticket price as AFF members. General admission tickets for non-members are available for $12. Presented by Texas Book Festival, in partnership with Texas Monthly magazine and the City of Highland Park, the one-day event featured top Texas authors including Lawrence Wright, Kay Bailey Hutchison, Stephen Harrigan, Erica Grieder, Liz Scanlon, and more.
